NOISE ABATEMENT
Dallas Executive Airport is located within a noise sensitive area of the City of Dallas, and is bounded on nearly all sides by residential neighborhoods. In an effort to continue to provide an excellent facility for your use, a noise abatement program has been developed with the participation of the airport operators, neighborhood representatives, the Federal Aviation Administration and the City of Dallas.
The purpose of this program is to minimize the noise impact of aircraft operations at Dallas Executive Airport on the surrounding neighborhoods without unduly restricting use of the airport.
Click Here to submit a noise complaint.
Noise complaints may also be submitted to the Airport Communication Center via email: 214670LOVE@DallasCityHall.com or phone: 214-670-LOVE (5683)
Runways 13/31 is strength-rated at 40,000 pounds single wheel gear loading, 90,000 pounds dual wheel gear loading.
Run-ups will be permitted at the run-up area on Taxiway C, with the exception that Dallas City Ordinance Section 5-25 prohibits all engine maintenance run-ups between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
Aircraft conducting a series of touch and go landings should be conscious of noise sensitive residential areas and conduct their operations to minimize noise impact whenever possible.
